Road Surfacing & Reinstatement Works

Project Overview

This surfacing and reinstatement job focused on renewing a damaged section of hardstanding that had become unsafe and uneven. The client needed a durable, reliable, and cleanly finished surface capable of supporting frequent pedestrian and vehicle movement. Our objective was to deliver a premium tarmac reinstatement that improved structural integrity, boosted visual appeal, and met all required safety and compliance standards.

Scope of Work

We began by cutting out and removing the failed sections of the existing surface, ensuring every weakened area was fully excavated. After exposing the base, our team rebuilt the sub-base with accurate levels, thorough compaction, and a strong foundation ready for fresh surfacing. All underground services were clearly marked and carefully navigated to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Once preparation was complete, new base layers were installed and compacted to form a solid platform for the top layer. The final tarmac surface was then laid to a smooth, uniform finish and seamlessly joined to the surrounding surfaces, ensuring durability, clean edges, and a consistent appearance across the reinstated area.
